The Transition Home is Part of the Journey

After time away, there's often an unspoken expectation that we'll simply "jump back in" to our routines.
But transitions, whether returning from vacation, beginning a new season, or navigating a life change, deserve space and gentleness.

Yoga reminds us that every transition carries wisdom. Before rushing into productivity, we can pause. We can breathe. We can notice what we're bringing home with us and what we're ready to leave behind.
As I return to the studio after time away with my family, I'm holding this intention close: to move back into rhythm with presence instead of pressure.
Travel reminds us that being present often comes more naturally when we're away from our routines. The real practice begins when we return home. Can we bring that same presence into the ordinary moments?
If you're finding yourself settling back into work, caregiving, or everyday responsibilities, I invite you to offer yourself the same grace.
Sometimes the most important practice isn't doing more- it's learning how to arrive.
✨ Classes and private sessions are back in session, and I'd love to welcome you back to the mat.
